Reconciliation Accountant

What to Expect:

• Perform end-to-end reconciliation of financial transactions processed between the Acquirer’s bank, Processor, and Card Schemes. (VISA, AMEX, MASTERCARD)
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve mismatches between different transaction records, including clearing, and settlement discrepancies.
• Generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy.
• Month-end General Ledger reconciliations and booking of journal entries on a daily and monthly basis
• Providing supporting documentation for annual and interim audits.
• Work closely with finance, risk, and payment operations teams. 
  
  

To be successful you need to have: 

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or a similar role (preferred but not mandatory).
• Advanced or intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency in lookups and pivot tables.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze problems and report them in a timely manner.
• Previous experience with accounting systems (considered a plus).
• A working level of English.
