Join our team as a Vendor Manager, where you will take charge of both existing and new vendors throughout their journey with us. Your key responsibilities include overseeing contract management, supplier performance, and ensuring all obligations are met.

 

What to Expect:

 

  • To support the internal stakeholders to deliver efficiencies and service improvements, including continuous improvement activities in the following areas:
  • monitoring and managing the implementation of supplier contracts after contracts have been finalized to ensure consistent execution.
  • assisting category managers in making informed decisions and choices when implementing changes to existing contracts
  • development and implementation of contract and supplier risk mitigation strategies
  • managing performance to agreed SLAs and target KPIs
  • ensuring all other contractual obligations are fulfilled
  • promoting an understanding and awareness of supplier management processes and procedures and execution of project plans and tools as seen fit for the contracts in scope
  • managing contract exit or renewal to ensure minimal impact on business operations
  • Monitor and track compliance (business, supplier) to business and legal regulations, flagging instances of non-compliance
  • Promoting an understanding and awareness of supplier management process and procedures
  • Set challenging targets for suppliers and ensure that these are achieved and, if possible, exceeded
  • Ensure that stakeholders’ views on supplier performance are obtained regularly and are used to drive continuous improvement
  • Support the Strategic Relationship Management (SRM) programme with a goal of realising efficiencies through reduced risk, cost and increased process efficiency and performance   

 

Your profile:

 

  • Experience (3+ years) in vendor management and / or supplier relationship management
  • Willingness to challenge current practice: seek alternative options and challenge convention
  • Experience of effective collaboration and ability to influence senior stakeholders and strategically important suppliers
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: articulate, concise and accurate
  • Ability to independently plan and execute procurement strategies (in line with business needs)
