We are looking for a Vendor Management Expert, who will be at the forefront of managing suppliers, both current and prospective, from initiation to completion. The role involves overseeing supplier onboarding, ensuring alignment with business and legal regulations, including Due Diligence, ESG, and other internal and external requirements.

 

What to Expect:

 

  • Manage the onboarding process for suppliers ensuring compliance to business and legal regulations – Due Diligence, ESG and the rest of the internal and external requirements.
  • Proactively supportive to Senior Vendor manager.
  • Develop a close working relationship with all key stakeholders
  • Build relationships with your peers in other functional areas to encourage best practice and share ideas
  • Be proactive within your team by always striving for the highest standards of professionalism, high energy, commitment and best-practice
  • Be willing and available to assist the wider Procurement team to work in cross-category teams
  • Consult with your colleagues and line manager, as appropriate, to ensure that the most suitable commercial strategies are adopted
  • Contribute to the delivery of your team’s targets by maintaining a fast pace in all your sourcing projects, and challenging others to do the same

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Experience in supplier relationship management
  • Experience of contract management and compliance management
  • Strong interpersonal skills: works well with all members of the hierarchy
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written: articulate, concise and accurate
  • Analytically strong: comfortable manipulating large volumes of data
  • Willingness to challenge current practice: seek alternative options and challenge convention
  • Self-starter – motivated and disciplined. Can manage their own time well
  • Mid level of professionalism
  • Experience (3+ years) in vendor management and / or supplier relationship management including contract management and compliance management
