The Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst is a vital member of the Cyber Defence Center, responsible for delivering high-quality cyber threat intelligence to support various security and non-security stakeholders. This role requires strategic insight, technical expertise, and strong analytical skills to enhance the organization’s threat intelligence capabilities and ensure robust defenses against evolving cyber threats. 

 

What to expect:

  • Research and analyze cyber threats impacting Paysafe and the FinTech sector.
  • Identify attacker techniques, indicators of compromise (IOCs) and objectives to strengthen detection and defense capabilities.
  • Conduct proactive threat investigations using open-source, commercial and proprietary tools.
  • Support the development and improvement of detection logic to identify and prevent cyber threats.
  • Contribute to documenting processes and procedures in a fast-evolving environment.
  • Monitor threat intelligence alerts and ensure timely and appropriate response.
  • Produce clear, audience-tailored reports (scheduled and ad-hoc) at tactical, operational and strategic levels.

 

To be successful you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Solid understanding of the Intelligence Cycle and analytical methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience in SOC, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting or Cybercrime investigations.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and its application in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover).
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR tools and related query languages.
  • Ability to interpret data from security tools, logs, threat reports, and malware analysis platforms.
  • Experience with open-source investigation tools such as VirusTotal, Passive DNS and WHOIS.
  • Exposure to Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs).
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH, SANS) are a plus.
