Tax Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Full accounting, tax and reporting responsibility for several Paysafe entities in different countries, including preparing and booking monthly manual journals;
• Analyze financial records and prepare necessary (tax) calculations and appropriate postings for several Paysafe entities;
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, advisors, tax authorities, counterparties;
• Contribute to timely submission of all tax returns required by law;
• Complete and file tax documents requested by National Revenue Agency, tax advisors and auditors or internal parties; assist with respective audits;
• Prepare tax related interpretation statements for Paysafe internal use;
• Perform tax balance reconciliations;
• Participate in finance projects for system improvements, reporting optimization and other one off projects;
• Contribute to process and systems efficiencies in all areas of responsibility. 

Your Profile:

• Degree in the field of Finance or Accounting; ACCA Professional Accounting qualification is considered an advantage
• 2 years’ experience in accounting and tax
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS; understanding of basics of UK GAAP and US GAAP
• Up-to-date knowledge of Bulgarian tax legislation
• Fluent English
• Advanced MS Excel command
• Politeness, communicativeness, loyalty, ability to work in a team
