This role is part of the Marketing Analytics & Strategic Projects team within the broader organisation led by the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO). You will focus on tracking and analysis of the user journey on the web and app to create actionable recommendations and optimize the end-to-end lifecycle. You bring expertise in Google Analytics and the implementation of tagging and tracking. The key stakeholders for this role are the acquisition marketing team. You’ll identify new opportunities, highlight how to optimize the journey for new and existing users on the web and app, ensure reliable collection of web and app data, and make clear actionable recommendations that drive decision making.  

You’ll be the owner of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adjust. This role provides an opportunity to shape the web & app tracking space, and you’ll be asked to help design the right tooling architecture to create a modern setup with visibility of user behaviour throughout the web and app. You’ll work with internal Data Engineering and Web Development teams and can count on the support of external agencies to supplement your work. 

The role is based in our Sofia office on a hybrid remote model, within which a quarterly average of 3 days per week need to be spent in the office. You can also work from other countries for up to 2 weeks per year.  

 

What to Expect: 

  

  • Implement tracking using Google Analytics to capture rich information about user behaviour on our websites. 

  • Develop tagging and an attribution methodology to capture the channels through which our products acquire prospective new users and website traffic. 

  • Use tools like Adjust to complement Google Analytics and bring visibility to user journeys that cross between app and web. 

  • Analyze customer conversion across the website & app and identify opportunities to improve and optimize the journey. 

  • QA tagging and tracking to ensure reliable datasets. 

  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to set up automated pipelines for reporting KPIs and populating self-service dashboards. 

  • Administrate our tracking tools e.g. configuration, account access management, user training to facilitate self-serve access. 

  • Communicate effectively to a mixture of technical and non-technical stakeholders of varying seniority. Tell a story with the data and ensure key points and recommendations are understood.  

 

Your Profile: 

   

Essentials:  

 

  • 3+ years’ experience working with Google Analytics.  

  • Degree educated in a Mathematics/Economics related degree or significant applied experience in a commercial environment.  

  • Advanced technical knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and web/app tracking.  

  • Able to deconstruct and solve problems, to investigate drivers and figure out why things happen, and being able to “tell the story” when interpreting and presenting actionable data insights.  

  • Excellent eye for detail and ability to ensure accurate and objective analysis is undertaken.  

  • Have a “Can do” attitude, team player, eager to learn, contribute and share knowledge.  

  

Nice to haves:

 

  • Knowledge of payments, e-commerce, and gambling markets desirable with understanding of customer and merchant needs in these segments.  

  • SQL coding skills 

  • Experience working with Adjust and/or Amplitude. 
  • Experience working with Snowflake. 

  • Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML.
