What you will do: 

 

·        Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for the ServiceNow platform with particular emphasis on ITSM processes (SME and overarching responsibility) 

·        Design, develop, and implement automated solutions in ServiceNow that enhance efficiency and streamline operations (Focus on Automation!) 

·        Create robust integrations between ServiceNow and various enterprise systems (Focus on Integrations!) 

·        Lead technical implementation of modules and applications (SME leading technical initiatives) 

·        Provide architectural guidance and best practices for platform development (Continuation from the SME above with focus on architecture) 

·        Manage and resolve platform incidents with focus on permanent solutions, ensuring high availability of the platform (Operational incidents) 

·        Implement minor changes and continuous improvements to existing functionality (Operational activities) 

·        Perform regular system health checks and proactive maintenance (Operational activities) 

·        Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions (Understanding the business context) 

·        Stay current with the latest ServiceNow releases and functionality to leverage new capabilities effectively (Optimize and continual self and platform improvement) 

·        Conduct trainings and advise the wider ITSM and Technology Operations teams on various ServiceNow functionalities and setup (Supporting the organization) 

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

·        4+ years of progressive experience with ServiceNow development, automation and integrations 

·        Experience with ServiceNow administration, configuration, and customization 

·        Knowledge of ITSM processes and their implementation within ServiceNow 

·        Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams 

·        Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions and operational issues 

·        Strong incident management skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve platform issues efficiently 

·        Experience with change management and release practices in ServiceNow environments 

·        Ability to prioritize work effectively between incident resolution, minor enhancements, and project work 

·        Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking 

·        ServiceNow certifications (CSA or Developer/Implementor level) 

·        Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience 

 

Considered an advantage: 

·        Experience with ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB modules 

·        Knowledge of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) modules 

·        Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer and Integration Hub 

·        Familiarity with latest ServiceNow features and releases 

·        Experience with Agile development methodologies 

·        Previous experience in a similar senior technical role with operational support responsibilities 

·        Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
