The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for facilitating the setting of pricing within the DW business UNIT, together with ensuring appropriate controls and checks are in place to optimise profitability. The focus will be supporting DW but will also cover enterprise sales and consolidating a Paysafe view across BU (DW and Acquiring). The role will also continually develop market understanding and competitive positioning from a pricing perspective and support the Sales and Marketing teams. The role will also support the commercial finance team and ultimately the divisional CFO with timely and accurate information relating to driving revenue growth. The role reports directly to the Global Pricing Director.

 

What to expect:

 

  • Undertake a full review of existing pricing rates applied within the Group
  • Develop and maintain the pricing tools and mechanisms used within the Group
  • Run analyses to identify new or enhanced pricing revenue streams and present recommendations to management
  • Undertake periodic reviews of existing merchant pricing rates applied across the Group to identify non-profitable deals and escalate for immediate repricing
  • Develop and maintain a database of Competitor Pricing and provide recommendations on pricing as the market develops
  • Review, monitor and maintain margin rate data for merchants for both DW and Acquiring.
  • Support Sales and Account Management teams in pricing and selling decisions for enterprise sales and BU (acquiring and DW) consolidating a one Paysafe view
  • Work closely with Marketing to track the profitability of existing promotions and appraise future campaigns with the aim of driving incremental turnover whilst conserving margin
  • Responsible for internal communication of pricing and policies, and ensuring all externally communicated pricing are in line with agreed policy and authorisation limits
  • Prepare forecasts / budget / ad hoc Financial analysis

 

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

  • Finance / Mathematics/ Statistics / Economics Degree or Background desirable
  • Card Acquiring and Payment Processing knowledge, especially interchange and scheme fees needed
  • CIMA/ ACCA Part-Qualified / Full qualification preferable
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (financial analysis and modelling techniques) - analysis of large quantities of data
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised - plan and prioritise effectively
  • Experience of dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and excellent numeracy skills
  • Communicating in English in both a written and verbal form
  • Being dynamic and self-motivated
  • Being persistent, assertive and resilient
