The Senior Manager, Partners Oversight is responsible for ensuring that all partners operate in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing and maintaining a robust oversight framework, including due diligence, monitoring partner activities, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to mitigate compliance risks.

What to Expect:

  • Organise, manage and coordinate the Global Partners Oversight function and operations across all locations, delegate tasks and supervise their execution.
  • Provide team members with strategic leadership and subject matter expertise.
  • Ensure that scheduled oversight reviews are adequately and promptly allocated to the team globally, and individual team members, whilst assuming responsibility that those reviews are conducted on time and reports are prepared and shared with Senior Management.
  • Lead and maintain a robust and adequately resourced Partners Oversight team.
  • Ensure that all partners oversight activities are followed and managed accordingly:
    •  Onboarding: Develop the onboarding and periodic review process for partners, ensuring thorough compliance assessments and risk evaluations.
    •  Monitoring: Develop and execute monitoring plans to assess partner compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
    •  Policy Development: Develop and manage partners' risk management policies and procedures.
    •  Issue Management: Identify, investigate, and resolve compliance issues related to partners, and escalate significant risks to senior management.
    •  Training & Awareness: Provide compliance training and guidance to internal teams and external partners as needed.
    •  Prepare regular reports and dashboards on partner compliance status, risk trends, and remediation efforts.            
  • Provide the VP Global Compliance Oversight and the Senior Management with quality & timely management information regarding team activities.
  • Support the VP Global Compliance Oversight in presenting insights and management information to the Boards and various management committees.
  • Support the VP Global Compliance Oversight in corresponding and presenting to the regulators if need, on issues relating to Partners Oversight.
  • Spearheaded project and improvement initiatives to scale and uplift the function.
  • Foster close and collaborative relationships with 1LoD/2 LoD teams.

To be successful you need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or partner oversight, preferably in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with e-money and payment services & products
  • Strong understanding of different AML/CTF regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to analyse issues and develop a problem-solving methodology with minimal guidance.
