To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst. This role will be involved in direct external and internal customer support as it pertains to ACH rejects, Accounts Receivable and Billing. You will be depended on for swift resolution of merchant account issues or inquires. This role will be dedicated to reconciliation, review, and handling of financial services issues for a specific group of financial institutions and or/portfolios. You will be responsible for the entire Financial Services processing, including, but not limited to, ACH rejects, uploading billing files, collections (A/R), analysis of accounts, action items for recoveries of funds, reconciliations, divert/reserve management, and reporting.
What to Expect:
- Play a vital part in the business management and processing of front end and scheme rejects in the operational systems including reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
- Collaborate with Accounting personnel in the production of effective, timely financial reporting information.
- Participate in projects designed to improve organizational effectiveness and assist in performing testing for new automation/processes.
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues, and providing clarifications as needed.
- Prepare Excel schedules of various complexities for daily, weekly, monthly reporting
- Other financial operation duties as required.
Your Profile:
- University level education, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Operational modeling or equivalent
- At least 5+ years post graduate work experience (last 2 years in a similar role)
- Knowledge of Card Scheme (VISA/MasterCard) operations preferable
- Excellent command of English language
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent advanced Excel skills, MS office
- Knowledge and experience in using Operational system
- An excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships, working cross function and with teams across the globe
- Ability to understand end to end processes, identify improvement & simplification opportunities and design and implement standardised solutions.
