Senior Finance Business Partner

What to expect:

• Preparing budgets, quarterly forecasts and long term plans for the business area, with a focus on accuracy and carefully documented assumptions.
• Strong business partnering with key business and finance stakeholders to control and analyze revenue and KPIs to deliver to target.
• On a monthly basis, prepare and present balanced reporting packs to Management. This includes KPIs, P&L, variance analysis with commentary and action plans.
• Analyze and interrogate the transactional database to identify and communicate appropriate trends effectively to the business.
• Develop KPIs, systems and analysis tools as required by the business.
• Proactively using commercial knowledge to identify and monitor risks and opportunities, as well as offering solutions to problems.
• Initiative driven value-add tasks such as continuous improvement of processes.
• Ad hoc support to the VP Commercial Finance and wider team as required, such as for investor relations and audit queries.
• Mentoring the junior members of the team.

To be successful you need to have:

• Highly organized, able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment, and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Keen analytical and commercial mindset, with advanced MS Excel skills (financial analysis, graphs, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of Hyperion, Tableau or similar solutions also desirable.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to summarise matters concisely both verbally, in written and presentation forms.
• An excellent team player with the ability to work proactively.
• Confident in engaging with senior stakeholders and broader finance and business community with resilience to challenge.
• Experienced commercial finance professional (CIMA / ACA / ACCA accreditation or equivalent) with financial/ management accounting / business performance background.
• Financial Services or Payments industry experience desirable.
