The Senior Data Metrics and Quality Manager will be responsible for constantly improving and managing the whole discipline across Paysafe. This individual will play a critical role in the Global Data Assets team to increase the quality, stability, and reliability of Data Management and Analytics end-to-end.

 

What to expect:

  • Responsibility for managing a Data Quality & Metrics program throughout the group
  • Pro-active stakeholder engagement with business stakeholders, SME´s, Data Owners, Data Product and Data Engineering team
  • Work with members of the Data Assets team to constantly monitor and improve the quality of master and reference data
  • Identification of Key Data Elements (KDE´s) with Data Owners, define “good enough” with owners and stewards
  • Define Data Metrics for KDE´s as well as for accuracy and completeness across whole data pipelines
  • Define and monitor DataOps metrics
  • Root cause analysis for issues affecting the quality of specific data elements and reliability of data processes
  • Cost-benefit analysis and ROI discovery
  • Report, explain and escalate Data Quality issues to senior management
  • Ensure timely resolution of relevant Data Quality issues
  • Data Quality tool responsibility
  • Data profiling

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

  • 5+ years of experience with Data Management and especially Data Quality with a strong analytical background 
  • BA/MA degree required, preferably a combination of business and technology skills
  • Experience with other aspects of Data Governance is a benefit
  • Relevant experience in financial services and/or similar online transactional business
  • Solid understanding of state-of-the-art technical architecture, tools, processes, and Infrastructure, including Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Good knowledge of technical data management aspects (ERD, OLAP, Kimball, ETL/ELT, streams, DataOps, DWH, Data Lake) in an environment with significant volumes of data (> 100 TB repos, > 10bn record entities)
  • Hands-on experience with Data Quality tools and processes
  • Excellent creative, analytical and communications skills
  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and to communicate with business as well as engineering teams
  • Excellent command in English (written and oral)
  • Self-motivation and self-reliance
  • Adaptable, flexible, and willing to embrace change as needed
  • High ethical standards
