Essential Duties:

  • Driving Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)projects and serving as a trusted partner and subject matter expert to advise EDD operations team.
  • Serving as a joint custodian of Enhanced Due Diligence procedures with the EDD operations team
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement on current KYC/EDD controls and leading the new control implementation
  • Working with the product team on tracking and assessing the performance of existing and new KYC vendors and identifying opportunities for more cost-effective compliance controls
  • Assisting in sanctions and KYC related case review upon request
  • Leading monthly and quarterly trainings to the EDD operations team

 

Your Profile:

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a Compliance, Operations, or Audit role
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills, Bulgarian language would be a plus not essential
  • Experience in working in payments, or fintech, would be a big plus
  • Proactive, energetic with a strong sense of ownership is critical to the position
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimum supervision
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with different levels of priority
