What you will do:

 

  • Complete time sensitive tasks impacting our clients
  • Work with colleagues from non-technical departments to identify and resolve bugs in our software
  • Proactively provide status by updating the tickets
  • Provide high-quality solutions that work from the first time
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance to the company’s software products:
  • Maintain SQL processes and database related applications
  • Write stored procedures and database views to simplify data access
  • Maintain and debug our software products and websites
  • Troubleshoot and analyze code in MSSQL, Oracle, ASP classic, ASP.Net and JQuery, Java

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

  • 3+ years’ experience servicing clients
  • Experience writing, modifying and troubleshooting stored procedures in MS SQL databases
  • Microsoft SQL, SSIS, RDBMS and their specific tools: SQL, Transact SQL, Enterprise manager, Query Analyser
  • Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Bitbucket
  • Advanced debugging skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Able to manage shifting priorities
  • Able to learn quickly
  • Excellent work ethic - willing to go above and beyond to get the job done
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proactive, detail oriented

 

Preferred Technical Skills:

 

  • Good knowledge of MSSQL code and design best practices and database optimization
  • Knowledge working with Microsoft technology stack likes ASP.NET, C#
  • Knowledge working with web services and APIs
  • Solid understanding of CSS, HTML, XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX and JSON
  • An understanding of Web Development standards and Best Practices including W3C standards compliance and issues related to cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility
  • Basic knowledge of IIS
  • Basic knowledge of network services and communication protocols (TCP/IP, FTP, Telnet, SSH, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL)
  • Code optimization skills, for database and web
