Senior Application Security Engineer

What to expect:

• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate security scans (SAST, SCA, DAST, container/API scanning), enforce code quality gates, and enable early identification of vulnerabilities during the development lifecycle
• Process bug bounty findings: validate/reproduce, assess impact, coordinate remediation with teams, and close the loop with researchers
• Organize and coordinate security testing (external pen tests, targeted assessments); define scope, consolidate results, and verify remediation
• Design and maintain automations (Python/Bash, APIs) that streamline daily AppSec tasks, automate recurring processes and optimize workflows to reduce manual work and cycle time
• Define, track, and report AppSec metrics (coverage, findings, remediation SLAs) to provide executive level visibility and program effectiveness
• Develop and maintain technical documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary

To be successful you need to have:

• 5+ years of experience in application security, software development, or technical InfoSec roles
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for building automated pipelines
• Hands on expertise with SAST, SCA, DAST and CI/CD pipeline integration for automated checks and enforcement
• Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10, plus web application security testing (manual and automated)
• Automation scripting proficiency (Python, Bash or other languages) to build custom workflows for detection, reporting, and remediation
• Linux command line proficiency and systems knowledge

Considered an advantage:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSWA, OSWE, GWAPT or similar are a plus
