What to expect:
- Full accounting and reporting responsibility for several legal entities from the Group in different countries, including review of postings by finance shared service center and doing monthly manual journals postings
- Preparation of internal management reports and scheduled local and external regulatory reports.
- Monthly close responsibility and preparation of monthly P&L, BS and CFS under IFRS and detailed reporting packs per legal entity.
- Review of P&L variances and BS balances
- Preparation and maintenance of a detailed accrual spreadsheet
- Day-to-day involvement in PTP process, such as Purchase Orders approvals
- Act as business partner to other Paysafe internal departments including Group Finance, Treasury and FP&A.
- Preparation of annual financial statements under local GAAP and IFRS and liaising with external and internal auditors
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the Group and seek improvements Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the Group and seek improvements
- Participate and lead finance projects for system improvements, reporting optimization and other one off projects
- Drive process and systems efficiencies in all areas of responsibility. Review and critically assess current systems in order to assess and recommend ways to achieve maximum optimization.
To be successful you need to have:
- Educational requirements for the position: Master degree in the field of Finance or Accounting
- Education in the field of Economy will be considered as advantage
- ACCA professional Accounting qualification required
- Qualification requirements for the position: Up to date knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards including IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP
