The role of Reconciliation Systems Engineer sits in the Finance Systems - IT department of Paysafe. It is part of a larger reconciliation support team. It is a key tech role servicing AutoRek reconciliation application. The successful candidate will also actively support the development, finance, and audit teams, providing systems proficiency and expertise.
What to expect:

First-level application support and application administration
-
Ensure all requests for support are logged and categorized and SLAs are met;

Ensure the ticketing system is up to date and accurate at all times;

Initial investigations and troubleshoot where possible to resolve issues;

Incident management and escalation to 2nd line support engineers as required. Engage with 3rd party vendors to escalate urgent support issues, and ensure timely support is provided;

Development

Prepare or modify data templates to load complex files from multiple sources;

Integrate new incoming data to ensure automated loading, aggregation, validation, reconciliation and reporting;

Create and manage data feeds, match rules, and set up accounts for existing and new reconciliations;

Manage workflow;

Support the deployment of release and configuration changes following our Change Management procedures;

Participation in audits;

Work with second-level support, QA, business owners and development teams

Finance projects support.

To be successful you need to have:
-
5+ years proven experience in finance technology application support role or similar
-
University degree in Computer Science, programming or demonstrated equivalent level experience
-
Experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Rreconciliation tools such as Autorek
- Financial Services, or other similar regulated sectors.
- Cloud development/integration/administration projects.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail

Good understanding of accounting and reconciliations

Good English verbal and written communication skills

Confident communication across multiple teams
-
Can work independently as well as in a team environment.
Will be considered an advantage:

Experience with SQL

Experience with regular expressions

Experience with Jira/Confluence/Service Now.
