Product Owner, Crypto

We are looking to recruit a Product Owner to become part of the Product Team responsible for building and managing Paysafe’s Crypto and Web3 product value proposition. This is an exciting and space in the payments landscape where we see the convergence of traditional payment service providers and Crypto native players. Paysafe are building products and services that address both the unique needs of Crypto natives and highlight opportunities where crypto can solve pain points in other business verticals where Crypto and digital assets aren’t traditionally considered. The selected person will be responsible for managing the delivery of a number of our features and products across our Crypto product portfolio, owning the product development backlog and ensuring that development teams clearly understand the business outcomes expected from any development. You are expected to be a technical subject matter expert for those products assigned to you and the development teams under your direction.  

What will you do:

• Translate the customer and business outcomes into actionable user stories, prioritise the user stories, and creates the product backlog to facilitate development by the engineering teams. 
• Provide support to the development teams to ensure they are clear on what to work on next and to address any questions about the deliverable and solve for any delivery capacity constraints 
• Coordinates alignment with the development teams to ensure delivery is aligned with the roadmap set by the Product Manager. 
• Communicates the voice of the customer and provides context to the development teams. 
• Provides feedback on the delivery status and development backlog to the Product Manager. 
• Ownership of the product development backlog.

 
 
To be successful you need to have

• 2+ years of experience working as a product owner within the Fintech / payments/ banking space  
• Experience working within the Crypto Vertical and/or a strong passion and understanding about the Crypto and Web3 ecosystem
• Clearly articulate and translate business/customer outcomes to technical deliverables and user stories 
• Excited about problem solving and finding technical solutions 
• Beneficial to have an engineering/developer background 
• Passionate about building “best in class” products and experiences 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
• Experience working with product development tools (Jira, Miro etc) 
• Ability to multi-task and plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects
