We are looking for a dynamic and flexible, Pricing Analyst to support our Product organization. As a Pricing Analyst, you will be at the frontier of building our Pricing function to drive growth through data and AI-enabled capabilities. This opportunity is high visibility for someone hungry to drive the upward trajectory of our business and be able to contribute to their efforts in the role in our success.
Working with the Director of Pricing Operations, you will help to deliver and execute pricing strategies and analytics-based solutions. This role will be a key driver in delivering sustainable growth in both revenues and gross profit. In this position, you will utilize your analytic skill set while learning the core principles of pricing strategy. No prior experience in pricing is required, but the successful candidate must be interested in developing into a pricing expert.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Data Management: Oversee the accurate collection, validation, and organization of data from diverse sources.
- Ensure pricing data accuracy and integrity by managing and creating new datasets.
- Create standardized dashboards to report KPIs to pricing organization and senior stakeholders.
- Key contact for pricing approvals, updates to documentation and negotiations,
- Provide pricing support to revenue organization with new deals, renewals deals and new income generating opportunities
- Perform large data extraction, synthesis from various sources and analysis to support pricing activities
- Ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Support in delivery of pricing analytics and market insights through existing data and Competitor analysis
- Create and manage pricing training documentation and resources.
- Assist in the compliance investigation process by gathering information and preparing initial summaries for review by senior team members.
- Pricing compliance assistance and support the follow-up/closure of breaches, ensuring all documentation is stored appropriately.
- Willingness to help complete fundamental-level tasks that must be completed with an eye toward improving automation of such tasks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.) or experience in lieu of education required.
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis or similar role, required.
- Moderate experience in SQL with willingness to develop expert level capabilities.
- Payments Industry knowledge would be an advantage
- Knowledge of dbWeaver / PowerBI and BI Tools
- Knowledge of CRM and workflow tools such as Salesforce / JIRA
- High attention to detail and strongly self-motivated
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and strict criteria
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team working and independent working skills
- Innovative thinking and goal orientated mindset
- Solid at problem solving, using excellent analytical skills and systems to make sense of issues
- Ability to work on own initiative and with limited oversight
- Skilled to visualize data intuitively, cleanly, and clearly to simplify important insights.
