What to expect:
- Review of transaction flow
- Investigation of different fraud and money laundering patterns and taking relevant actions in accordance with internal procedures and processes
- Daily analysis of transactions for identifying suspicious activity and spotting organized crime indicators
- Communication with merchants, financial institutions, Police authorities
- Conduct in-depth investigations of suspicious customer behaviour and money laundering alerts.
- Monitor the efficiency of system controls and processes
- Ensure timely and efficient reporting of transactions considered suspicious
- Permanent monitoring of existing, new or emerging financial crime trends, in-depth analysis
- Understand product specific AML and fraud risks and provide expertise for appropriate automated or manual solutions to mitigate those risks
- Research and understand changes in regulations
- Investigation of cases reported by external parties including but not limited to banks, merchants, acquirers, payment partners
- Research and understand changes in regulation.
To be successful you need to have:
- Experience in the Risk/Compliance area is an advantage
- Relevant experience within online payment industry is an advantage
- Excellent MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
- Тechnology affine
- High attention to detail, good analytical skills and logical thinking
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong initiative and dedication to quality
- Adaptability, flexibility & willingness to embrace change
- Self-motivated, with strong sense of initiative and quality
- Interest in automating manual processes
- Full proficiency in English, additional language skills advantageous (i.e. Spanish & German)
