Essential Duties:

  • Manage finance and accounting operations, including review of postings by other finance teams and timely communication on any open items
  • Support month-end and year-end close process
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements under IFRS and detailed reporting packs per legal entity including budget to actual analysis
  • Ensure SOX controls and procedures are maintained and regularly performed.
  • Participate in finance projects for system improvements, reporting optimization and other one-off projects
  • Drive process and systems efficiencies in all areas of responsibility. Review and critically assess current systems to assess and recommend ways to achieve maximum optimization
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the Group and seek improvements
  • Additional controller duties as necessary

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • ACCA or similar qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Strong IFRS knowledge
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a commercial or audit environment
  • Experience with spreadsheets and preparation of presentation
  • Experience with Oracle EBS will be considered an advantage
  • Close attention to detail is essential
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Can-do positive mind set
  • Fast ad-hoc learner with high levels of flexibility and adaptability to change
