What to Expect:  

  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic finance partner, collaborating with business leaders to provide financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Support monthly and quarterly reporting, cost analysis, and business performance reviews, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting at the functional and group level.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with cost center owners across the business, as well as with Group Finance, the Finance Shared Services Centre, and key support functions including Controllership, HR, Procurement, and Tax, to assess financial performance and provide meaningful, data-driven insights.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead financial planning cycles, including monthly/quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze and report P&L actuals, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to drive performance improvements.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Identify and implement improvements in reporting, controls, and analytical processes to enhance efficiency and business impact.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards and financial controls, maintaining alignment with Group policies and best practices.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Deliver financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business case support, including insights from non-financial KPIs and benchmarking, to guide strategic decisions.

 

To be successful you need to have:   

  • Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in FP&A or a similar financial business partnering role. Ideally, the candidate will have experience supporting a Technology function and possess international exposure - either through working or studying abroad, or through working for a multinational organization in Bulgaria.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial analysis capabilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Communication & Influence: Ability to build strong relationships and effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions.  Ability to adjust style to suit occasion and audience.  Ability to translate complex financial data for non-financial professionals
  • Strategic Thinking: Capability to understand end-to-end business processes and contribute to financial planning and performance improvement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills, strong knowledge of MS Office, and experience with financial systems such as HFM, PBCS, OneStream and Power BI (preferred).
  • Language: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
