What to expect:
- Strategy Development: Develop and refine the overall risk & compliance management strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and market trends. Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation in the risk management space. Oversee the strategic roadmap planning.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring that products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. Define product requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the development process.
- Compliance Assessment: Conduct comprehensive compliance assessments to identify and evaluate potential risks to the business. Collaborate with compliance analysts to develop compliance mitigation strategies and implement controls to minimize exposure.
- Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. Communicate effectively to align stakeholders on product vision, strategy, and priorities.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes related to risk management. Use insights to inform product roadmap and strategy decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of compliance management products. Analyze data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of product managers, engineers, and analysts. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
To be successful you need to have:
- 5+ years of experience in a Product management role
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a leadership role
- Deep understanding of international regulation for Electronic Money Institutions
- Proven track record of successful integration/migration of Risk Engines and vendors in the Risk & Compliance space
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders
- Prior experience in a first and/or second line role within Risk & Compliance strongly preferred
- Ability to navigate within a complex field with dynamic priorities
