We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking Director of Reporting and Analytics to lead the development and execution of robust, scalable, and audit-ready reporting frameworks across our Consumer and Merchant business lines. This role demands deep expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, audit preparedness, consumer-focused data products and the strategic application of analytics to support operational excellence and evolving regulatory obligations.
As a senior leader and product owner for the Digital Wallet Consumer Data Warehouse and associated consumer data products, you will be responsible for delivering highly trusted reports and dashboards that serve the needs of internal stakeholders, external regulators, and auditors. Your insights will drive critical business decisions, ensure compliance alignment, and strengthen governance across product, financial, and risk domains.
What you will do:
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end reporting strategy across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Act as the internal SME for financial reporting, regulatory and compliance reporting brings a strong understanding of how group-level financial data is structured, managed, and leveraged.
- Develop a roadmap for modernizing and automating reporting workflows through data-driven decision-making and scalable platforms.
Consumer Data Products
- Lead product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for the Consumer Data Warehouse.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams to design scalable consumer data models, pipelines, and analytics layers.
- Build and maintain consumer data products that provide actionable insights for product, marketing, risk, and customer experience teams.
- Ensure data quality, completeness, and compliance for all consumer datasets, including transaction, behavioral, and lifecycle data working with data governance and privacy teams.
- Drive innovation in consumer analytics, enabling segmentation, personalization, and advanced behavioral modeling.
Reporting & Analytics Oversight
- Oversee the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant reports for:
- Enterprise Risk
- Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Regulatory & Compliance Bodies
- Establish governance processes to ensure data consistency, lineage, and auditability across all reporting domains.
- Ensure KPIs, dashboards, and reports are standardized, insightful, and actionable.
Business-Aligned Execution
- Deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reporting for:
- Consumer Operations: Acquisition and retention analytics, complaints and resolution metrics, privacy compliance reporting, digital engagement trends, and regulatory inquiries.
- Merchant Operations: Transaction and fee analysis, cross-border flows, onboarding and underwriting metrics, AML monitoring, and KYC program reporting.
- Compliance & Audit: SOX controls, SEC filings, AML/BSA reports, GDPR/CCPA logs, audit trails, and remediation status.
- Build intuitive dashboards and executive summaries tailored to Finance, Legal, Enterprise Risk leadership for decision-making and oversight.
Regulatory Audit & Governance Support
- Collaborate with Internal Audit, Compliance, Legal, and external auditors to:
- Manage regulatory inquiries, documentation requests, and reporting for examinations.
- Lead the resolution and tracking of audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure all outputs meet rigorous standards for auditability, traceability, and data accuracy.
Data Governance & Infrastructure
- Partner with Data Engineering and Architecture to implement robust data models that support structured, reliable, and compliant reporting across all relevant domains.
- Establish and govern metadata, definitions, and lineage standards for use in reporting and compliance documentation.
People & Performance Management
- Build and lead a high-performing team of report developers, analysts, and data stewards.
- Set objectives, track performance, and mentor the team to support ongoing career growth and innovation.
- Provide mentorship, structure, and performance management while fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement.
To be successful you need to have:
- 15 years of experience in reporting, analytics, and compliance-related roles, including 5+ years of people leadership.
- Demonstrated success leading reporting initiatives involving:
- Consumer data and product analytics
- Merchant operations and compliance
- Regulatory filings and audit documentation
- Strong working knowledge and practical application of regulatory frameworks
- Technical proficiency in:
- BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik
- Data Platforms: Snowflake, Big Query, Databricks, or Redshift
- Experience presenting to regulators, external auditors, and C-level executives.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data, or a related field preferred.
