Paysafe is currently seeking a highly motivated and talented Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team.

 

What you will do?

  • Designing and deploying dynamically scalable and self-healing applications and infrastructure on AWS and hybrid cloud environments
  • Define infrastructure using IAAS automation tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
  • Administer and develop containerization platform to manage application configuration and deployments using EKS
  • Migrate on-premises applications, environments, and infrastructure to AWS
  • Develop and maintain development and team environments, deployment scripts and end-to-end pipelines to cover both application and infrastructure use-cases
  • Take part in all aspects of the system monitoring (deployment and runtime logs, application performance) – cloud resources, managed services, orchestration platform, in-house applications
  • Suggest architecture and process improvements, based on company needs
  • System troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains

 

To be successful you need to have:

  • Experience in a Cloud Engineer/DevOps role, preferably with AWS background using a broad range of products (EC2, RDS, ELB, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS)
  • Experience with container orchestration systems – vanilla Kubernetes or a managed Kubernetes service (EKS or similar)
  • Work within an on-premises and/or a cloud-based development environment utilizing automated build techniques and enabling software artifacts to be part of a Continuous Integration (CI) framework
  • Experience with build and deployment automation tooling (project uses Gitlab and Atlassian stack) and infrastructure automation tools to manage software configuration of many hosts across several different environments and locations
  • Strong scripting/automation skills within background in at least one programming language
  • Experience administrating and using version control systems
  • Strong knowledge in Linux operating system
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
