Paysafe is currently seeking a Delivery Lead in its Digital Wallets division, based in Sofia, Bulgaria who is highly motivated, flexible, and experienced in IT development and business change projects. The role requires a person comfortable working within a complex stakeholder environment, engaging with different areas of the business ranging from product, technology, infrastructure, operations, finance, sales teams, etc. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all activities assigned to the delivery team are performed promptly while maintaining the highest quality of performance. This role is execution-focused and will play a key part in driving solutions delivery in a matrix environment. The successful candidate will be an expert in project management and SDLC methodologies who applies this expertise to daily practice, has strong stakeholder management skills, is highly focused on delivering commercially viable business solutions directly linked to the corporate objectives.


What you willl do:

  • Ensuring cross-functional engagement of stakeholders to confirm that all critical requirements are in place and taken into consideration
  • Analyzing to understand business processes required to ensure end-to-end delivery of intended results
  • Leading budget estimation, KPIs and benefits identification and tracking, reporting of financial actuals and budget variances
  • Leading the identification of critical dependencies and risks likely to impact cost, time, and quality as early as possible
  • Mitigating risks and issues as they occur, escalating any issues as appropriate, and owning them through to resolution
  • Liaising between Product Management, Development Leads, and business stakeholders to foster quality communications
  • Working closely with Development Leads, Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and key stakeholders to define scope and requirements in terms of features and capabilities
  • Supporting both agile processes and waterfall methodologies within a matrix organization
  • Creating and maintaining delivery documentation and plans
  • Tracking and reporting progress to stakeholders with a focus on budget, scope, resources, and schedule transparency
  • Managing the change control process and ensuring that all required approvals are in place


To be successful you need to have:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing or performing IT development and business change projects using an Agile/Scrum/Waterfall approach
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiar working in a Matrix organization working with scrum teams, executive management, IT, etc.
  • Ability to identify, track and manage risk
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, planning, people and team-building skills
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, and operating under tight time constraints
  • Experience with financial budgets and cost tracking – CAPEX, OPEX, and alignment to portfolio budget
  • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas
  • Conflict resolution to understand various obstacles and apply negotiation skills to find optimal solutions
  • Experience in the payment and finance industries
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Payments landscape will be considered an advantage
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to bridge gaps with high-level stakeholders
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and JIRA Agile
  • Working knowledge of IT systems, Information Security, and applications
  • Experience working with distributed teams across different locations and time zones in a culturally diverse environment
