Join our Cyber Defence Management team and help strengthen Paysafe’s security posture. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering services such as monitoring, incident response, forensics, threat hunting, intelligence, and vulnerability management. You’ll help assess, implement, and maintain tools, processes, and workflows that ensure these services operate effectively—enabling Paysafe to detect and respond to threats.
Your work will focus on configuring and maintaining security tools (e.g., Qualys, SentinelOne, O365), and enhancing our ability to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats.
What you will do:
- Contribute to cyber engineering efforts across infrastructure, applications, and configurations to support security tooling for threat prevention, detection, and response.
- Collaborate with Cyber Defence team leads to shape and maintain a risk-prioritized roadmap for operational and tactical improvements.
- Focus on maintaining and configuring Microsoft security tools across the organization.
- Assist in building secure configurations that protect corporate environments and end-user devices.
- Stay informed on emerging threats and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
- Communicate findings clearly through gap analyses, planning documents, and reports.
- Participate in the Change Management process, evaluating changes from a security perspective and attending CAB meetings.
- Support the orchestration of Security Operations Center processes to reduce incident response times.
- Help the Information Security team adopt innovative technologies that promote a secure data environment internally and externally.
To be successful you need to have:
- 3+ years of experience deploying and maintaining commercial and open-source Cyber Security tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with Microsoft Security tools (e.g., Defender, DLP/MIP, ASR).
- Experience implementing security technologies across Windows, macOS, Linux, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, and VMware.
- Understanding of threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and procedures, and how to engineer defenses against them.
Considered an advantage:
- Scripting skills and ability to organize data for security analysis.
- Security certifications such as Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CCSP.
- Experience with technologies and methodologies like IPS/IDS, WAF, Vulnerability Management, Red Teaming, Application Security, Cloud Security, Container Security, Routing and Switching, DDoS protection.
