What to expect:

  • Support in developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing a scalable compliance governance framework by defining clear governance structures, roles and responsibilities, and ensuring alignment with global regulatory expectations
  • Develop and maintain governance dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to monitor framework effectiveness
  • Conduct periodic reviews and assessments of governance processes, identifying areas for improvement
  • Support in coordinating governance committees, including preparation of materials, meeting minutes, and follow-up on actions
  • Participate in designing and managing the compliance policy framework ensuring that policies are regularly reviewed and updated
  • Manage the escalation process for relevant compliance matters relating to merchants ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation
  • Participate in developing and maintaining AML/CFT policies and procedures ensuring they reflect current regulatory requirements

 

To be successful you need to have:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge of card payment processing/acquiring and digital wallets
  • Experience working within a risk or compliance team and an understanding of the importance of policy and audit functions
  • Good knowledge of governance concepts in the financial industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or risk management experience in lieu of the degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills, self-motivated, team minded, innovative and experience working across departments
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision and strong sense of responsibility
  • Excellent organizational, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel, Word, Power Point
