Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst plays a critical role within the Finance Systems - IT department at Paysafe. This role is responsible for identifying business requirements and contributing to the design, optimization, and enhancement of system features that deliver value to finance users. As a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, you will offer expertise and support to development, finance, and audit teams. Strong system knowledge and analytical skills will be essential in driving efficiencies and ensuring compliance within the financial systems landscape. 

What to expect: 

Business Systems Analysis

• Conduct in-depth analysis for enhancement requests and process improvements across finance platforms.
• Gather and document requirements for system features, functionality, and integrations related to Oracle Fusion, OneStream, AutoRek, Treasury Management System (TMS), and other finance tools.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional designs, requirements specifications, process workflows, test plans, UAT scenarios, and data migration strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system capabilities align with evolving business needs, identifying and recommending areas for improvement.
• Support QA activities by providing documentation and assisting with test execution across finance systems.

Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation Support

• Participate in all phases of Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation, including planning, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Conduct business process analysis, gather requirements, and perform gap assessments to ensure solutions meet business goals.
• Prepare technical specification documents for custom-developed features, integrations, financial reports, and enhancements.
• Design, build, and maintain business reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Ongoing Support of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Finance Systems

• Troubleshoot system issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes or workarounds.
• Drive improvements to existing finance processes and assist in integrating new or acquired entities.
• Provide training for key users, maintaining up-to-date documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Cross-Functional Integration Projects 

• Perform analysis and prepare technical design documentation to support integration projects across the finance systems landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DEV, DBA, SA, ITI, Oracle Support) to deliver robust and compliant system integrations.

To be successful you need to have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in finance systems analysis and implementation. 

• Extensive expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud, particularly within Financials Applications. 

• Proven experience in full life-cycle implementations of finance systems in a global corporate environment, including integration with core systems. 

• Strong proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply them to diverse projects. 

• Educational background in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or Accounting, with preferred domain-specific knowledge in IT industry applications. 

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and propose effective solutions. 

• SQL knowledge is an advantage for data analysis and reporting. 

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders across multiple teams and organizational levels. 

• Deep understanding of major finance, accounting, and compliance standards. 

• Strong understanding of information technologies and system architectures, particularly in finance systems. 

• Ability to think creatively and inventively drive solution-oriented results. 

• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
