What to expect:
- Maintain and integrate security scanning tools across the company’s SDLC to ensure consistent vulnerability detection and continuous validation of application security
- Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate security scans, enforce code quality gates, and enable early identification of vulnerabilities during the development lifecycle
- Respond to requests related to SDLC security tooling and act as a support contact for issue resolution
- Coordinate with researchers and in-house developers on our bug bounty program to analyse rank and remediate exposed vulnerabilities
- Work with external pen testers to continually improve security on the platform
- Maintain application security metrics and reporting to track program effectiveness and demonstrate risk reduction
- Manage and coordinate vulnerability remediation efforts with development teams
- Propose, evaluate and build innovative new security features to benefit our organization
- Assist with security incident response as needed
- Develop technical documentation, including functional specifications, system design specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary
To be successful you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field is a plus
- 2 years of experience in software development or technical InfoSec roles
- Relevant certifications such as GWAPT, OSWA, or similar are a plus
- Understanding of the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how security integrates into each phase
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools for building automated security testing workflows
- Familiarity with security tools such as SAST, SCA, and DAST
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities and their impact on modern web applications
- Basic web application penetration testing skills
- Working knowledge of Linux systems, including command-line proficiency and scripting for automation
- Interest in automation and scripting, with hands-on experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Self-driven with a focus on learning and delivering strong results
