What to Expect:

 

  • Provide operational support on all aspects of Acquiring Chargebacks
  • Apply knowledge of card scheme guidelines to defend chargebacks raised by issuing banks
  • Prepare and submit accurate defense packages in line with the relevant PSP/Acquirer requirements
  • Review fraud trends on card transactions and recommend changes to prevent future potential losses
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained on the status of all incoming Chargebacks
  • Investigate and highlight potential technical issues that could result in a loss of representing rights
  • Liaise with internal teams to address and reduce bad debt caused by system issues and manual processing errors relating to the incoming Chargebacks
  • Enhance automation of current processes through the acquisition of new technologies or improvements to current technologies
  • Establish and maintain effective communication networks with key stakeholders, business partners and peers.

 

To be successful you need to have:

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or similar area would be an advantage
  • Experience within the Financial Services or Card industry would be an advantage
  • Imperative that the person is a Team player
  • Fluent in English is a pre-requisite
  • Proficient MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Proactive attitude, self-motivation
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility
  • International mindset
