What to expect:
- Be responsible for accounting and reporting for several legal entities from the Group in different countries, including review of postings by Finance Shared Service Center.
- Be responsible for monthly close and preparation of monthly P&L and Balance Sheets under IFRS and detailed reporting packs per legal entity.
- Prepare P&L and Balance Sheets variances analysis.
- Prepare and maintain a detailed accrual spreadsheet.
- Participate in Procure-to-Pay (PTP) process, including Purchase Orders approvals
- Act as business partner to other Paysafe internal departments including Group Finance, Treasury and FP&A.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across the Group and seek improvements
- Participate in finance projects focused on system improvements, reporting optimization, and other one-off initiatives. Drive process and systems efficiencies by critically assessing current tools and workflows, and recommending enhancements to achieve maximum operational effectiveness.
To be successful you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Economics is a plus)
- 3+ years of experience in a commercial or audit environment
- Up to date knowledge of Financial Accounting Standards including IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP
- ACCA qualification or progress toward it is beneficial
- Fluency in English
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Adaptability and eagerness to work and learn in a dynamic environment
