We are looking for Senior Compliance Expert, Questionnaires and Audits, who will be responsible for leading and coordinating external AML/BSA/CFT compliance questionnaires and audits across multiple jurisdictions. This role will act as a key liaison between external auditors, senior management, and internal teams, ensuring questionnaires and audit readiness, timely responses and effective coordination and execution of questionnaires and audit activities to maintain compliance and meet regulatory expectations, where applicable.

 

 

What to expect:

  1. Audit management
  • Lead, manage and coordinate end-to-end external AML/CFT/BSA compliance audits across relevant Paysafe entities, by acting as a point of contact for external auditors and internal teams during audit lifecycle
  • Work closely with Senior Management Team (SMT) and cross-functional teams (Risk, BI/Data Analysts, Legal, Operations, etc.) to ensure audit readiness and alignment
  • Oversee, review and coordinate timely submission of required data and documentation to auditors
  • Organize, lead and facilitate audit walkthroughs and meetings
  • Ensure clear communication of requirements, expectations, timelines to internal teams
  • Support the development of action remediation plans, including tracking and ensuring that actions are well-documented, assigned and completed on time
  • Prepare presentations and summaries related to compliance audit activities (status, outcomes, remediation progress) for senior stakeholders
  • Support the continuous improvement of audit processes by proposing enhancements, and contributing to the implementation of standardized approaches and controls
  • Perform ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Director, as needed, and participate in broader Compliance team activities

 

  1. Questionnaires support
  • Review and completion of Compliance/KYC/KYB/Due Diligence/AML questionnaires, requests, queries from existing and new potential counterparties (banks, card scheme providers, payment services providers, etc.), ensuring all requests are duly and timely addressed, prepared and appropriately followed up
  • Act as the central point of contact and coordinator for all relevant Paysafe departments and external counterparties, leading cross‑functional collaboration to receive, review, and prepare Compliance, KYC, KYB, Due Diligence, and AML questionnaires and related requests, and to gather, validate, and consolidate the required information and documentation for new and existing partners
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of questionnaire and compliance request management processes, including standardisation, documentation quality, and efficiency

 

 

To be successful you need to have:

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AML/CFT/Financial Crime compliance, or related fields functions
  • Strong understanding of AML/CFT frameworks, compliance methodologies, processes
  • Experience in coordinating or supporting compliance audits, including interaction with auditors and multi-team environments.

 

Skills and competencies:

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, planning and time-management capabilities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and quality documentation
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with JIRA, ServiceNow and SalesForce is an advantage.
