We are currently looking for an outside sales representative to join our team, supporting the growth in our SMB payment solutions vertical. We are looking for seasoned professionals who have existing referral networks in the payments and small business community, with the intention of bringing on high revenue generating accounts for the direct sales portfolio. The ideal candidate has outside sales experience, with previous roles of cold-calling, prospecting, knocking on doors, and gaining referrals in order to recruit new business. We are looking for salespeople who can ideally leverage existing books of business or referral network relationships who can hit the ground running and act independently, drawing from their knowledge. You will help establish growth plans and strategies to expand the company’s customer base in your region and will be called upon to explore and exploit new revenue sources. You will be required to have a deep understanding of the company’s holistic payments offering, sales channels, methodologies, and pricing practices specific to the payments/processing industry.

You will need to bring at least 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally with a focus on the SMB market within the payments industry. Experience with FiServ and the Clover product line is a plus. You will need to have incredibly strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to take detailed notes and provide excellent follow-up for all prospects. You will be responsible for prospecting in your local area, both digitally and in-person. The application process and prospect management will be handled through SalesForce on Paysafe’s provided software.

We'll provide a competitive compensation package, along with some basic lead generation. Majority of the production will be generated from your efforts through referral networks and prospecting. The objective is at least 3 deals a month, preferrably 5-6 deals monthly. Ideal accounts will be small-medium sized healthcare or retail establishments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Client Communication –Create awareness of product features, new product launches, services and offerings, and share relevant industry news in order to maintain a close professional and strategic relationship with clients
  • Support Senior Management team in executing the sales strategy to maximize revenue and profitability, and to capitalize on new market opportunities
  • Scan the competitive market to understand and evaluate the service offerings of other companies and partners, as well as keep up to date with the rules and regulations affecting the online processing industry as it relates to the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Company’s online payment solutions, technologies and services
  • Source new healthcare business opportunities in the market & develop a strong and sustainable pipeline


To be successful you need to have

  • 2+ years of outside sales or related sales experience preferably in the payments industry, selling within the small business community is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related area of study is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience in an outside sales role, preferably with experience in the payments industry is considered a plus
  • Experience developing sales pipelines
  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Willingness to engage in business development and/or sales opportunities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Must possess a strong work ethic
  • Eager and willing to overcome challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, competitive, and fun environment
  • Ability to analyze trends to develop sustainable solutions for the growth of our clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong editing and proofing skills
