Summary
The Team Lead, Affiliate Marketing Services is responsible for leading and supporting a team of Affiliate Marketing Managers, overseeing training, and client servicing, while also managing and growing the IA Affiliate Network through strategic recruitment, communication, and optimization initiatives. This role combines team leadership with hands-on management of affiliate relationships, client integrations, and network development to drive growth and ensure service excellence.
The ideal Team Lead, Affiliate Marketing Services is a self-starter, people-person who is creative and dynamic. They will have a passion for marketing, a strong interest in the iGaming community and client-facing skills that allow them to build and maintain relationships with Income Access partners. Candidates should be effective problem-solvers, have strong writing skills and a strong background in client servicing. Experience in e-marketing or affiliate marketing is an asset and a background in customer service or business development is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Support: Train and mentor team members, oversee onboarding, and support day-to-day operations and client escalations.
- Affiliate Program Strategy: Guide best practices for affiliate management, support developing monthly goals, and propose marketing strategies and tools.
- IA Network Oversight: Manage affiliate relationships within the IA Network, approve new affiliates, and recruit new affiliates per month.
- Client & Network Support: Assist with client calls, integrations, and newsletters; manage communications strategy and optimize targeted mailers.
- Process & Product Improvements: Document workflows, identify platform enhancements, streamline payments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of affiliate marketing, partner relationship management, and client servicing
- Proven experience leading and mentoring teams in a marketing or client-facing environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities efficiently
- Comfortable using data to analyze performance and guide decision-making
- Experienced with affiliate tracking platforms and email marketing tools
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and broader internet marketing concepts
- Familiarity with HTML and basic web technologies
- Organized and process-driven, with sharp attention to detail
- Creative and analytical, with the ability to balance both approaches
- Adaptable team player who collaborates well across departments
- Self-motivated, with strong initiative and a desire to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in German, Spanish, or French is considered an asset
Experience & Education
- University or College degree in Marketing or a related field, highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, marketing and/or business development in a product environment, required.
