To help us fuel accelerated growth, we are looking for an experienced BSA/AML Analyst III. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment where you will have a blend of in office days and home office days during the work week.


Position Overview:

This position maintains a high degree of responsibility and serves a critical role in ensuring Skrill USA, Inc. ongoing compliance. This position will be the subject matter expert in in both AML and Fraud typologies and will quickly be able identify those schemes while analyzing and articulating suspicious activity to remit SAR filing to regulator.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate potentially suspicious activity that may arise from risk alerts, compliance alerts, regulatory investigations, and matters otherwise escalated to the Monitoring and Investigations (M&I) Group through Compliance, Legal, Risk or other areas where account transactional activity is at issue.
  • Conduct appropriate due diligence related to the potential suspicious activity through the review of customer background information, review of transactions, and fund movements as necessary.
  • Conduct due diligence searches in various third party and internal databases.
  • Perform analysis and reviews utilizing internal and third-party research tools.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations related to fraud and money laundering included in the US PATRIOT Act.
  • Develops documentation related to AML issues to enhance corporate policies.
  • Maintains fraud prevention system, including testing and installation of software updates.
  • Informs senior compliance management about issues that may involve rule violations or potential liability.
  • Maintains currency in laws and regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering compliance.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Administering anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
  • Analyzing transactional activity to identify suspicious transactions, to solve complex problems, analyze large amount of data and execute on solutions for mitigation and rule envelopment.
  • Planning and scheduling work to meet regulatory organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying and applying appropriate compliance monitoring procedures and tests.
  • Making rule-based and analytical decisions.
  • Prepare oral and/or written reports.

  • Interpret and apply fraud and anti-money laundering regulations and identify and recommend compliance changes as appropriate.
  • Work under pressure on multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Can work through multiple complex investigations at the same time.
  • Handle the beginning-to-end process for SAR Fillings.
  • Ability to concisely summarize suspicious activity and remit filing.
  • Provide a high level of customer service.
  • Establish and maintain effective professional working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Maintain currency in anti-money laundering rules and regulations and compliance examination techniques and best practices.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in a related field preferred and 3-5 years Fraud/ AML investigatory and analysis experience.
  • CAMS / CFE preferred/plus
