Digital Consumer Messaging & Risk Vendor Strategy
- Lead the migration to digital consumer messaging (e.g., push, in‑app, email, verified sender platforms), including consent/opt‑in management, template governance, routing orchestration, deliverability assurance, fallback logic, and observability.
- Optimize channel selection and guardrails using risk-adjusted decisioning (cost, reachability, risk score, latency), with A/B testing, throttling, and failover patterns to maximize reliability and economics.
- Instrument metrics and dashboards that track impact (e.g., messaging unit economics, deliverability, latency, and vendor/platform SLAs).
- Coordinate cross‑functional execution (Product, Engineering, Data, Compliance, Finance, Procurement) to streamline processes, remove bottlenecks, and operationalize changes with robust change management.
- Drive integration quality and readiness through clear, audit‑ready documentation (scoping, plans, milestones, decision logs, outcomes).
- Contribute to a focused optimization of risk vendors and platforms, emphasizing interoperability (APIs, event-driven patterns), data quality, and right‑sizing of capabilities.
- Support vendor evaluations and limited negotiations with Procurement/Finance, ensuring technical feasibility and measurable outcomes; avoid unnecessary complexity or lock‑in.
- Shape the risk systems strategy and roadmap - prioritizing automation, interoperability, and simplification across platforms and tooling.
- Pilot and scale improvements that enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and explainability of risk signals and controls; verify results against defined KPIs.
- Champion excellence in documentation, change governance, and operational rigor to sustain high‑quality delivery at scale.
What we’re looking for:
- [Familiarity with (digital) messaging platforms & frameworks (push, in-app, email, SMS, …).
