Introduction

Paysafe is currently seeking a Senior Programme Manager who can hit the ground running that is highly motivated, flexible and experienced in business change and IT development projects especially focused on Business Transformation. The role requires a person who is detail orientated and is comfortable working within a complex stakeholder environment, engaging with different areas of the business ranging from product, technology, infrastructure, operations, finance, sales teams, etc.

The Senior Programme Manager will need to have a strong technical and commercial mindset and understand the goals and objectives of the projects assigned and ensure alignment with the charters, track the finances and KPIs/OKRs associated.

The successful candidate will ensure that the projects are delivered on time and cost, to the right level quality, leveraging the right technology solutions and in line with Paysafe’s governance framework.

This role will provide exposure in working in a truly global organisation by effectively working with delivery teams and stakeholders across the world. Providing the opportunity to be part of high performing delivery team.

This role would suit someone highly adept at CxOlevel stakeholder engagement, experience with matrix influencing whilst having the flexibility to drop into the detail as required.

 

 

 Responsibilities

  • Identifying, managing and tracking the overall scope, objectives, & critical success factors of the projects
  • Ownership of the end to end plan, including the identification of critical dependencies and risks likely to impact cost, time, and quality, including tracking budgets and change requests as necessary
  • Ongoing management and mitigation risks, issues and dependencies, escalating as appropriate and owning them through to resolution
  • Liaising between Product Management, Development Management, and business stakeholders to foster quality communications and solution alignment
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers and key stakeholders to define project scope and requirements in terms of features and capabilities
  • Supporting both agile processes and waterfall methodologies
  • Tracking and reporting project progress to stakeholders with a focus on budget, scope, resources, and schedule. Timely escalations as necessary
  • Ownership of end to end roadmap, across multiple teams, geographies and new and old tech stacks.
  • Help bridge the gap between features and capabilities vs development/product workstreams.
  • Track and communicate business value/business readiness and map that against development/product milestones
  • Highlight any risks, resource constraints, re-allocation of teams that could impact deliverables
  • Ensure business stakeholders drive the priority and if an alternate delivery sequence is suggested, ensure all stakeholders sign off
  • Work across tech stack and manager current and future state and all related business readiness activities.

 

 

Candidate Requirements

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a programme/ project manager or similar, with a demonstrable track record in managing the delivery of large complex technical projects, in a highly regulated environment
  • Experience in leading complex projects in an agile environment, implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery mind-set
  • Excellent communication, organizational, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Familiar working in a Matrix organization working with scrum teams, executive management, IT, without direct control of resources and with global geographical spread
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, project & program planning, people and team building skills
  • Experience in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines and operating under tight time constraints
  • Experienced leader who has a passion for developing high performing team -both locally and remote, motivating the team and driving them towards a common goal
  • Bachelors or Masters degree
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE 2, or other Project Management qualification, ITIL would be considered an advantage
