The Senior Manager within the Commercial Finance function is responsible for supporting the commission calculation, tracking, and payout processes globally across Paysafe. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely compensation for sales representatives and other employees involved in commission-based compensation plans. The Senior Manager collaborates closely with various teams, including Sales, Finance, and People functions, to maintain transparent and efficient commission operations whilst managing the portfolio of commission schemes.

How we work:

 

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

The impact you will have:

 

  • Manage the timely and accurate payout of commissions to eligible employees.
  • Manage commission process in line with best practice, looking to continually improve processes and in line with finance/audit requirements
  • Prepare commission payment package, applying the individual scheme rules from different commission based templates
  • Prepare presentation materials and review commission analysis with Sales and Finance teams to gain approval
  • Provide monthly sales attainment performance and analytics, and narrative on exceptions
  • Liaison with Finance, Sales Managers and Sales Representatives on all commission queries, globally
  • Provide input into the commissions management process by liaising with partners across the Revenue, HR and Finance Teams
  • Work with the local Payroll teams to ensure all payments are made in line with the scheme terms and in line with local deadlines
  • Support Sales Managers schemes by calculating or obtaining quotas for new hires, existing employees or modifications to commissions plans
  • Validation and processing of manual claims and performing manual adjustments
  • Modelling and scenario testing for new and changing schemes
  • Maintain sound analytical methodology and performance standards, including effective project planning and confirmation of request specifications, development of error checking methods to validate data integrity, and valuing accuracy in balance with speed to delivery
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new procedures and processes to enhance the productivity, efficiency, and workflow of commission activities, including driving process automation leveraging existing templates, databases and BI tools
  • Manage a team of 3-4 across the US and Europe

 

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+years experience as a commission analyst or similar role
  • Experience in managing commission programs, preferably in either a finance or sales operations role preferred
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation principles, commission structures, and performance metrics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Strong Excel skills such as using sumifs, vlookups, xlookups, index/match, pivot tables, VBA/macros, Power Pivot, DAX expressions, array formulas, etc., for report automation and fast/accurate analysis
  • Financial service industry experience and/or experience working in a payment processing organization a plus
