We’re looking for a strategic and execution-focused leader to build and lead our Center of Excellence function. The COE Leader will be responsible for centralizing core marketing capabilities, establishing consistent best practices, and scaling delivery across regions and business lines. This leader will transform the team into an internal agency-style model, driving both innovation and operational rigor to support the entire global marketing organization.

How we work:

 

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

The impact you will have:

 

  • Build and lead the Marketing Center of Excellence, bringing together digital, social, web, and CRM teams into a unified operating model
  • Establish clear frameworks, workflows, and SLAs to support campaign execution and cross-functional marketing initiatives
  • Operate as a shared service partner to campaign, brand, and operations team—ensuring effective prioritization, speed, and delivery
  • Define and implement performance metrics across CoE functions to measure impact and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and enforce global standards for content publishing, paid media execution, CRM programs, web optimization, and digital governance
  • Manage agency and platform partnerships to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution
  • Partner closely with analytics, brand, product marketing, and sales to ensure cohesion across the full go-to-market lifecycle
  • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the team, supporting skills development and career growth
  • Lead change management and internal communications to drive adoption and engagement across the business

 

 

What we’re looking for:

 

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing operations, digital marketing, or marketing leadership roles
  • Proven track record of building scalable marketing infrastructure or leading a Center of Excellence, agency, or shared services function
  • Deep knowledge of digital platforms, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle), CMS tools, paid media channels, and performance marketing tactics
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams with diverse capabilities (creative, technical, operational)
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with an ability to drive clarity and accountability
  • Exceptional communicator with executive presence and stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a global, matrixed environment

 

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with agile marketing principles or scaled operations models (e.g., pod structures, sprint-based workflows)
  • Hands-on experience managing marketing tech stacks, including analytics and automation platforms
  • Experience managing budgets and vendor contracts at scale
  • Passion for developing high-performing teams and building a strong internal culture
