As a Senior Analyst, you will be at the frontier of building our Pricing function to drive growth through data and AI-enabled capabilities.  This is a job with high visibility for someone hungry to drive the upward trajectory of our business and be able to point to their role in our success.

You will partner with product managers to understand their commercial needs, then prioritize and work with a cross-functional team to deliver pricing strategies and AI- and analytics-based solutions to solve and execute them. 

Business outcomes will include sustainable growth in both revenues and gross profit.

How we work:

 

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

The impact you will have:

  • Help build data products power the automation and effectiveness of our pricing function, driving better quality revenues from merchants and consumers.
  • Work closely with Pricing stakeholders (e.g., product, sales, marketing) to turn raw data into actionable insights.  Help ask the right questions and find the answers.
  • Dive into complex pricing and behavioural data sets, spot trends and make sense of the noise.
  • Use your modelling and data-mining magic to pull out insights we didn't know to ask for.
  • Take your findings and turn them into plans for new data products or insights for for new merchant features.
  • Partner across merchant product, sales, marketing, engineering and finance to build alignment, engagement and excitement for new products, features and initiatives.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by following and enforcing data governance policies. Make sure we're all speaking the same data language.
  • Upskill yourself and others, and innovate.

 

What we’re looking for:

  • 5 years of growth in data analysis in a pricing context, ideally both B2B and B2C in a digital environment.
  • Expertise in SQL.  Experience in Python.
  • Excellence in structuring and analysing A/B tests, elasticities and interdependencies.
  • Proven ability to visualise data intuitively, cleanly and clearly, to make important insights plain and simple.
  • Demonstrable multifaceted experience across large and complex datasets, including customer behaviour, and transactional data.
  • Top tier communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
