We are looking for someone with a proven track record of exceeding new business revenue targets in the Payments industry to join our team as a Sales Manager. The focus will be on new business sales in the Financial Services & Fintech vertical across Europe. The opportunity will include selling Paysafe’s product offering (card acquiring, payment gateway, alternative payment methods, Skrill/Neteller digital wallet and eCash proposition) directly to end Merchants. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Financial Services Sales.

How we work:
We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.
The impact you will have:
- Sell the Paysafe product offering directly to financial services organisations across Europe (PSPs & PayFacs, licenced eWallets, digital banks, money remittance, lending)
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue target through new business sales.
- Build working relationships at C-Level/operational level and use account mapping to develop and close opportunities over a long period.
- Own the sales process from lead to close, seeking to intimately understand needs and requirements and building a compelling, value-led proposition with buy in from all internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate and develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector/sub sectors in different regions.
- Build a strong network across the sector, developing our brand awareness and enhancing your own reputation as a subject matter expert.
- Show strong verbal and written communication skills through meetings, presentations, written proposals, and tender responses.
- Ensure reporting is accurate and regularly updated, meaning revenue forecasting is precise.
- Be a team player, helping to build a fantastic team spirit and thriving, ambitious culture.
- Travel within the UK and Europe when required, e.g. for client meetings or events.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of new business sales experience in the Payments industry, with a demonstrable track record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Has an excellent knowledge of the Payments ecosystem.
- Possesses a strong understanding of the Financial Services sector, with an understanding of the industry landscape and where Paysafe can help to drive value.
- A true “new business hunter” mentality, with an ability to source leads and create, nurture and close a pipeline.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, especially for in-person meetings and proposals.
- Can understand complex requirements, make thoughtful recommendations, and quickly build consensus with senior level internally and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work/perform in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Has superb organisational skills and understands the importance of accurate revenue forecasting.
