How we work:
We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.
The impact you will have:
- Leading and Assisting the Risk Management and Audit teams by handling internal and external audit requests related to Risk System tools.
- Assisting the rest of the team with escalations and mitigating emerging fraud trends.
- Conduct analysis of fraud and money-laundering trends and risk controls between Consumer, Merchant and Crypto areas.
- Collaborate with the Machine Learning team to drive a model-first culture, leveraging data-driven models to enhance risk detection and decision-making.
- Being the point of contact for cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance, to address risk system-related inquiries and ensure seamless collaboration.
- Support the Investigations and Fraud Detection Teams, as needed, in areas such as data analysis and reporting.
- Drive the implementation, adjustment, and ongoing review of rules within the risk system while ensuring that these changes align with our KPIs and metrics, maintaining consistent performance while mitigating fraud risks effectively.
- Working with the database and perform detailed analysis to detect patterns and estimate impact
What we’re looking for:
- University degree in the field of Мathematics, Statistics, Еconomics or similar
- 5+ years previous experience working in the payments / gaming / gambling / crypto industry on risk and fraud / AML and compliance topics, either at a PSP, acquirer, or large merchant
- Experience with Python, SQL Server, big data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to effectively present and analyse risk-related data and trends.
- Working knowledge of antifraud solutions/risk systems/device fingerprint and CRM / case management tools.
- Know-how about cyberthreats (e.g. malware, ransomware, botnets, exploit rootkits)
- Knowledge of machine learning model validation, swap population review, deployment
Any of the below will be an advantage:
- Knowledge of cards / chargebacks / collections / schemes / prepaid products / giftcards / crypto market
- High attention to detail, good analytical skills and logical thinking
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment, willingness to learn and develop
- A high level of commitment and motivation, with team-work efficiency
- Full proficiency in English, additional language skills advantageous (i.e. Spanish & German)
