Paysafe is seeking an experienced Regulatory Change Project Manager to lead the delivery of projects across Risk, Compliance, and primarily the Regulatory space. This role requires proven expertise in managing change initiatives within Financial Services or FinTech, ideally with experience in payments.

 

Given the critical nature of these projects, we are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and a structured, evidence-based approach to delivery. Experience collaborating with Product and IT teams in a fast-paced fintech environment will be highly advantageous.

How we work:

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver regulatory change projects on time, ensuring full compliance with requirements.
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size simultaneously while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Partner with the Regulatory Team to interpret requirements, agree actions, and set timelines ahead of compliance deadlines.
  • Drive projects to completion, securing stakeholder buy-in, escalating risks/issues early, and leading governance forums.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans including tasks, timelines, owners, dependencies, and risks in a standardised format.
  • Produce clear documentation with audit-ready evidence of how requirements were assessed and actioned for regulators and auditors.
  • Provide accurate, tailored status reporting to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Work collaboratively, demonstrating curiosity and understanding of subject matter to identify interdependencies and report accurately on issues.

 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in regulatory change project management within Financial Services, leading initiatives through the full project lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of delivering time-critical regulatory projects to achieve compliance.
  • Strong background in managing change across matrix organisations, embedding requirements across people, policies, technology, and processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills, including working without direct resource control across global teams.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and problem-solve effectively.
  • Experience in developing and executing plans under tight deadlines.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of SDLC is a plus.
