How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

Position Overview:

Paysafe is looking for an Internal Audit Data Analytics Analyst to contribute to the value of the Group Internal Audit function by delivering data analytics that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of Paysafe Internal Audit, to achieve their objectives, mission and vision. You will participate as a specialist analytics delivery resource for Audit engagement teams, internal audit MI needs and innovation projects, with support from Internal Audit data analytics management. You will also contribute to Paysafe internal audit’s analytics capabilities by proactively upskilling in data science and automation skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Independent technical delivery of Audit DA testing strategies with some support, presenting the results of testing performed in optimal ways
  • Technical delivery of prioritized Internal Audit innovation projects, with support
  • Independent delivery and maintenance of internal audit reporting requirements, via tools such as SQL and Power BI
  • Coaching the broader team on opportunities to use DA techniques, to build in-house DA knowledge / competency
  • Proactively upskilling in emerging technologies or data science techniques (such as machine learning, generative AI and automation approaches) to support Paysafe Internal Audit’s innovation aspirations

  • Manages controllable resources efficiently and effectively to meet engagement objectives
  • Demonstrates efficiency and persistence, managing own time and ensuring engagement deadlines and objectives are met
  • Ensures audit documentation is a true reflection of activities performed during the audit engagement and all documents are adequately uploaded in the audit tool (Auditboard)

 

10: IMPROVEMENT AND INNOVATION

  • Independently identifies and delivers internal audit analytics and automation needs.
  • Proactively pursues audit innovation with Data Analytics and Data Science to challenge the status-quo, aligned with Paysafe Internal Audit’s vision and strategy

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum requirements

  • 1+ years’ experience of Python and SQL coding in academia / otherwise
  • Experience of independent project delivery
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Strong academic record, including bachelor or higher degree equivalent, preferably in an applied maths subject (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science etc)

 

Desired requirements

  • Data Analytics / Data Science qualifications or certifications
  • Academic experience of advanced data science (e.g. core machine learning)
  • Experience of using Power BI
