This role sits in the Group Finance function of Paysafe Group Limited, a dynamic Global Fintech business, listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, this role requires an individual with strong financial accounting and external reporting background. The role will focus on supporting the period-end reporting process and compliance with SOX controls and process improvements, linked to a wider Group transformation. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a variety of functions across Group Finance and engage in the detail of the Group close process and assist with the review of financial information, to draw sound and concise conclusions.

How we work:

 

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

The impact you will have:

  • Perform monthly reconciliations and analytical reviews over balance sheet and income statement financial statement line items, and present this to senior management on a quarterly basis
  • Assist with preparation of the group financial reporting package, for monthly, quarterly, and annual results
  • Liaise with divisional finance teams to ensure a timely and accurate close, and appropriate understanding and analysis of reporting entity submissions
  • Support the accounting for areas such as share based compensation, business combinations, goodwill and long-lived asset impairment
  • Assist with the preparation of disclosure support for quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Partner with divisional finance teams and provide guidance on accounting for unusual transactions
  • Support the wider team’s delivery requirements including ad hoc project work and initiatives as required

 

 

What we’re looking for:

  • Fully qualified ACCA/ACA
  • Ability to analyse financial data and draw sound conclusions from it, and identify potential issues
  • Robust knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and application thereof
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and requirements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to concisely present financial information verbally and in writing
  • A team player with strong technical skills and a willingness to take ownership
