How we work:

Our preferred arrangement is for the job holder to follow a hybrid model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

Paysafe is currently seeking a Frontend Engineer to join its IT Development team to help us enhance our applications supporting Merchant Solutions division. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and enjoy working independently or within a team. They must also be confident in all aspects of software delivery on large and small projects including build/test automation. 

The impact you will have:

• Design & Implementation 
• Develop engaging and efficient user interfaces using modern web technologies. 
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and security. 
• Maintain and refactor existing codebase as needed. 
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. 
• Code Quality and Reviews 
• Actively participate in code reviews, maintaining high code quality and enforcing coding standards. 
• Provide constructive feedback to other engineers to improve the overall team's work.  
• Collaboration Across Teams: 
• Effectively collaborates with product managers, project managers, designers, and other teams to ensure alignment and on time delivery.  
• Continuous Learning 
• Conitnuously works on improving business domain expertise and product knowledge. 
• Staying updated with the latest advancements in software engineering, emerging technologies, and industry trends.  

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years of financial/payment services strategy, financial services, consulting, or relevant experience required.
• A bachelor’s degree within business, finance, managerial studies, or any relevant degrees. Master’s degree preferred, although is not required.
• Familiarity with US Merchant Acquiring Operations preferred
• Data- driven decision making as it is needed to assess current state of the organization.
• Expertise in change management and practices.
• Strong understanding of the finance industry, payment services landscape, and the dynamics of client relationships.
• The ability to assess risk by identifying obstacles and having contingency plans in place.
• The ability to foster a culture that supports change.
• An understanding of financial implications, budget management, and cost- benefit analysis is important for evaluating the financial impact of transformation efforts.
• The ability to think creatively and introduce innovative solutions by facilitating the adoption new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Strong project management skills to ensure projects are timely and aligned with overall company objectives.
• Strategic thinking skills are imperative to develop a clear vision for transformation as it is needed to align with company goals.
