Director of Payment Partnerships

 

Location: London, Full time, Permanent.

As a senior member of the Payment Network Team, you will be responsible for managing and developing Paysafe’s payment portfolio in Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Africa. You will be a main stakeholder in both revenue and cost saving initiatives and responsible for delivering a large segment of the Payment Network roadmap.  You will be our payment partners main contact and responsible for all aspects of the relationship. The role requires you to negotiate complex agreements with both new and existing partners. A background in payment partner relationships with a focus on Alternative Payment Methods (APM), plus your ability to navigate complex payment models, is key to the success in this role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of existing APM relationships both in Europe and ROW.
  • Identify new relationships and build business cases that demonstrate the revenue opportunity across Paysafe’s customer base and secure integration resources.
  • Become a SME on Paysafe’s payment processing models so this can be presented to Payment Partners.
  • Negotiate complex agreements with both existing and new partners ensuring they support our entire Group and product stack.
  • Gain an in-depth knowledge of partner pricing and conduct regular reviews with the aim to reduce costs.
  • Create and drive the Payment Network roadmap for partners within your portfolio
  • Lead new partner onboarding and integrations and be integral to the design and implementation of the partner.
  • Manage payment partner KPI’s and provide periodic reports on partner performance.


Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years working in the banking or payments industry and able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of Alternative Payment Method processing models.
  • Can demonstrate how you lead agreement negotiations that included complex pricing tariffs with payment partners.
  • Experience working in the digital wallets industry is preferable.
  • Have implemented and managed a large portfolio of payment relationships in excess of $1bn of volume per year.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines set both internally and externally.
  • Highly skilled at presenting ideas and obtaining support both internally and externally
