We are looking for a Corporate Finance Manager to join our team to support some of our key strategic initiatives including acquisitions and disposals, strategic projects and multi-year planning exercises by providing decision support and acting as a key financial business partner for the wider business relating to these matters. The role sits at a critical intersection and involves in particular working with the wider finance organisation (in particular FP&A, Treasury and Group Accounting)

This position will be based in our Gresham Street office on a hybrid remote working basis. we operate a mature, autonomous working environment where you can manage your own time to get the work/life balance right. You will be working with global stakeholders particularly in London, Houston/Jacksonville and Montreal,

 

Key Responsibilities and Activities

 

  • Ownership of financial and valuation models, including three-statement integrated financial models
  • Acting as corporate finance business partner for various departments including Corporate Development, Accounting and the wider business
  • Supporting finance diligence during M&A processes and engage with financial advisors
  • Prepare presentation material for key finance stakeholders
  • Review and present analysis of internal strategic projects
  • Supporting Multi-year planning exercises (e.g. Medium Term planning)
  • Supporting Group Accounting with any support relating to accounting reviews and valuations, including valuations using DCFs and market methods

 

Essential Qualifications

 

  • Professional qualifications in accounting/ finance (such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or CFA)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within transaction services or corporate finance departments of accounting firms or large corporations
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with large data sets is essential and presenting analysis preferred
  • Team player with focus on delivery
  • Comfortable leading discussions and presenting to stakeholders
  • Persuasive, diplomatic, and confident
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure

 

Desired Qualifications & Experience

 

  • Prior M&A or valuations experience desirable
  • Previous experience working in Financial Services
  • Experience with SQL and Bloomberg Terminal
