Were currently looking for an AI and Data Governance Platform Manager.  Responsible for hands-on design and delivery of the tooling required for data governance capabilities such as data catalog, data quality and data lineage.

 

You will be responsible for configuring pipelines and connectors to ingest metadata, classifying data and establishing data elements utilising DataHub, Paysafe’s data catalog platform. You will be responsible for the hands-on maintenance of DataHub and related data management tooling withing Paysafe.

 

As the Platform Manager, you will develop and deliver data profiling, handle data discovery projects across multiple data sources in Paysafe and support the wider team in achieving its objectives.

How we work

 

We follow a hybrid working model, spending an average of three days per week at our office location. The office is located in Gresham Street next to St Paul’s cathedral with easy access and transport links via St Paul’s, Bank, Cannon Street, City Thameslink, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Mansion House.

 

 

Role Purpose and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and maintain Paysafe’s DataHub platform for data management
  • Orchestrate and manage the integration of DataHub with other platforms
  • Develop and maintain data lineage models & visualisation in DataHub and Solidatus
  • Drive the adoption and utilisation of DataHub’s catalog to enable enterprise data discovery, its classification feature and self-service applications
  • Showcase data governance best practice through model management of DataHub and Paysafe’s data catalog
  • Support the AI and Data Governance team in delivering its objectives

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • You must have a flair for data governance. You are eager to explore new frontiers and opportunities in the area
  • You have at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree in a related subject
  • You must have a proven track record in a data governance or data management role with experience in Financial Services industry, preferably in a Fintech
  • You must have hands-on experience in setting up, running and maintaining an enterprise data management tooling platform (such as DataHub)
  • Mandatory strong Python skills as applied in developing metadata scanning, data classification and profiling
  • You have demonstrated knowledge of data classification and its application to data security and access controls
  • You are delivery focused, self-actuating and able to work independently and on own initiative
  • You are a team worker with good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in the following platforms is an advantage:
    • Solidatus
    • AWS Glue
    • Great Expectations
  • Experience of working in complex multi-source data environments is desirable
